I'm Ted, a one-person handyman business. The information you share with me through this website is used to respond to your inquiry and do your job — nothing else. I don't sell it, share it, or use it for marketing.
When you use the contact form, I receive whatever you put in it: your name, phone number, email address, the type of work you need, your message, and any photos you attach.
When you call or email me directly, I have whatever you tell me, plus your phone number or email address from caller ID or your message header.

This website may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site (for example, which pages are most viewed and what city visitors are coming from). Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, the type of device and browser you're using, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at the site.
This information is used in aggregate to improve the website. It is not used to personally identify you, sell to you, or follow you across other websites for advertising.
If you'd rather not be measured, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, use your browser's "Do Not Track" or private browsing mode, or block cookies in your browser settings.
The site does not use Facebook trackers, advertising pixels, or other third-party tracking beyond the analytics described above.
I keep customer contact info and job records for as long as I need them — typically for warranty, follow-up service, tax, and accounting purposes. I don't have a fixed deletion schedule. If you'd like your information removed at any point, just email me and I'll take care of it.
You can ask me at any time what information I have about you, request that I correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just email info@castrovalleyhandyman.com and I'll take care of it.
The website uses HTTPS encryption so anything you submit through the form travels securely. I take reasonable steps to protect the information I keep, but no system is 100% secure — so please don't share anything especially sensitive (like financial account numbers) through the contact form.
This website isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.
If I update this policy, I'll change the "last updated" date at the top of the page. For meaningful changes, I'll do my best to flag it.
